Three Persons Feared Dead As Police, IPOB Clash In Imo


Three individuals were said to have lost their lives on Monday when policemen and individuals from the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB conflicted in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

The conflict was said to have begun when a Police separation was sent to Okigwe street to prevent individuals from the gathering from crushing announcements of hopefuls of ideological groups in the territory. Be that as it may, the IPOB individuals purportedly assaulted the agents.

As indicated by the Punch Newspaper, a Police source said three individuals from IPOB lost their lives, while four policemen were additionally shot and raced to the emergency clinic.

The Police source stated:

In the meantime, Dasuki Galadanchi, the state Commissioner of Police said the suspects would be charged to court after examination.
